Awesome Activities

Awesome Activities

Laser Tag

Campers in years 3-6 will get the opportunity to put their stealth to the test using our Laser Tag equipment. In teams, campers will work together and develop tactics to tag the opposition. Last person standing, wins, though everyone will have fun. Younger campers don't miss out, instead enjoying some exciting Nerf Tag challenges and games!

Excellent Christian Discovery Sessions

Each day, campers will sing, play games and learn about the great God who loves them in our Christian Discovery sessions. Our trained Christian Leaders give campers an opportunity to learn about God in an open and trusting environment while having a lot of fun doing it.

Excursion Day

Campers in years 3-6 will head off to the CRU Galston Gorge Conference Centre to experience a day in the great outdoors.

Our Kindy - year 2 campers will also enjoy an action packed day! Location TBD.

Carnival

We're bringing our jumping castle as part of our exciting carnival. Campers can also get their face painted, pin the tail on the donkey, win a balloon animal or knock down some cups as they walk around with their friends having fun on carnival day.

A week to always remember

A week to always remember

1 Leader per 5 campers

Energetic young adult Christian leaders care for and mentor your children throughout camp and are supported by high school Assistant Leaders who can get alongside your child to help them make the most of every opportunity. There will also be CRU Day Camps staff on camp to ensure that every camper is looked after and that the program is of high quality.

Camp finale

To finish off our week we will celebrate some of the things campers have achieved on camp. We'll watch a photo slideshow and campers will be able to see what they can do after camp to keep in touch with others, find out more about our other camps and have even more fun.

No Hidden Costs

We believe that every child should have the same experience as part of one community on camp. You don't need to pay extra for your child to come on an excursion, all activities are included in the cost of camp. We provide morning and afternoon tea for all campers and leaders as sharing food together allows for great conversations and bonds to be created.

Testimonials

Vanessa - Parent

Thank you for a wonderful CRU Day Camp experience this week. My 10 year old Isabelle absolutely loved it & couldn't wait to go everyday. Please pass on my thanks to all involved. She can't wait to go again next time. What a great ministry & blessing. Well done!

Paul - School Principal

The primary children greatly enjoyed the week, their parents gave very positive feedback, the three way partnership between CRU, our local church volunteers and our school staff/student leaders was fantastic.

Samuel - Year 5 Camper

The leaders are nice, I've had lots of time with my friends and I don't think camp could be better!

Louise - Leader

I thought the camp was wonderful. The children seemed to absolutely love it and the vibe around the school and church after the camp has been extremely positive.  Looking forward to running another one.

Toby - Year 3 Camper

It was very exciting and there was a nice new activity every day. I loved it.
